3 Massive Mistakes Most Holistic Practitioners and Healers Make That Keep Them Struggling To Grow Their Business

Mistake #3
GOING IT ALONE
This is one of Helen Keller Quotes
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much”.
Entrepreneurs are usually “do-it-your-selfers”!
The truth of the matter though is that if you want to be successful in your business it is never accomplished alone. Most successful people are surrounded by a team of people who serve, love and support them.
There are numerous tasks that must be done that you may not enjoy or even hate doing, and doing them yourself prevents you from doing what you are passionate about. It drains your energy and eventually causes procrastination or overwhelm.
The technical challenges of operating a business can be daunting to say the least. Just because you are an expert in your field, doesn’t mean that you have to learn and do all those other tasks that you are not an expert at.
Often entrepreneurs on a subconscious level have the belief that their business success has to be earned solely on their own merit. This causes them to isolate themselves from the many talented people who could help them in the very area that they are struggling with in their business.
Some of the things that they may tell themselves are that no one else can do it like they can or they can’t afford to get help. There are many ways one can get around these issues. Outsource those things that you don’t like doing are using commission based help or trades for programs.
The good news is that there are other people who love to do the things that you dislike doing. Find those people and bring them aboard your team.
If you find yourself starting a new project, or procrastinating ask yourself the question:”Am I trying to do it alone?” If you are trying to do it alone, then finding a capable team to help and support you is the solution to making your dream a reality.

How To Create A Breakthrough In Your Life Tip 2
May 27, 2010 by Brenda Blindenbach
One of the ways on How To Create A Breakthrough In Your Life or business is to become aware of the negative self talk or stories that are not serving you. When you become aware of what they are telling you then you are in a position of choice to change them.
The negative self talk or stories are just thoughts that you have from your past which create in you feelings of panic, worry, fear or other emotions that do not make you feel good. These thoughts and feelings create an energy and like a transmitter, are projecting a frequency and attracting other like or similar frequencies and are moving you into a downward spiral.
Your thoughts are supposed to support and serve you so that you are can create what you want. Take the example that you dread connecting with prospective clients, and then guess what, your prospective clients are picking up on it on a subconscious level, and you will have a mismatch.
Usually the negative self talk that takes place in your mind can go on for a long time before you become aware that they are not serving you. What happens is that they will evoke an emotion or sensation which you can feel in your body - tightness in your throat or chest, a knot in your belly, tension in your neck or shoulders or feelings of anger, or overwhelm.
This will alert you of what is going on in your thought life by the way it makes you feel -good or not so good.
So eliminating negative self talk becomes vital if you are going to create a breakthrough in your life. Here is how to do an assessment on where you are right now. Ask yourself what are those feeling stirring up within me in this moment that are not serving or not making me feel good? Those feelings will reveal the core beliefs that are triggering the emotions.
Unless this old energy is identified and released it will be activated over and over again and you will keep on experiencing the old energy of not having enough, or being enough, feeling inadequate, or whatever core beliefs that get triggered.
What happens most of the time is that we try to change the outside circumstances without first changing the internal environment. We have reversed the order and have put the cart before the horse. Remember that it is your inner design that creates your outer design and not the other way around.
Once you have connected with what you are feeling and have identified the core beliefs and released them, the next step is then to write a new story or script. You are the author, and director of your story. What would you like your new story to say?
When you make a conscious choice to align with this new story about yourself and what you want to create, you will start to think, feel, believe and embody the magnificent and awesome being that you truly are.
This change does not come overnight and like everything else that you do in your life it takes awareness, commitment and practice. My recommendation is that you find a life coach who will help you expedite the shifts to occur.

How To Create A Breakthrough In Your Life. Tip 1
May 4, 2010 by Brenda Blindenbach
Would you like to know how to create a breakthrough in your life? Do you feel discouraged, stuck, frustrated, disappointed or angry at what you are facing and don’t know how to shift it? The first thing to realize is that there is an internal block or conflict taking place between your desire –what you want- and your belief system, your conditioning.
Suppose your desire is to find a better job. Your mind will come up with reasons why you can’t have that better job. Your desire is to move into a different direction, and your fear- your belief system- is telling you why you aren’t able to do this so this causes a conflict in you.
Notice that this is not happening just on an intellectual level. These thoughts and beliefs are creating a feeling. You are feeling fear on one hand and desire on the other hand. It’s like you are on a teeter totter – You want this but you believe you can’t have it.
Take a second now and rate your desire for what it is that you want to manifest on a scale from 0-10, 10 being the strongest, and 0 being the weakest. Connect not intellectually but to how you are feeling.
Second, examine your belief. What are the feelings that are surfacing? You don’t deserve it, not good enough, it will take a long time or show up easily, or if what you have asked for will be good or even better? Remember to connect to your feeling.
Let’s pretend that your desire is at 10, and your belief is at a 4.
For manifestation to occur there has to be a match between what you want and the belief that you can have it or this will prevent you from attracting what you want. When there is a discrepancy between the energy of your desire and the energy of your belief (or conditioning) you cannot attract what it is that you want into your life.
When your desire is at a 10 and your belief is at a 10 you come into vibrational resonance and it will show up for you.
Even though you may now understand this concept of resonance, it hasn’t resolved the issue that you feel discouraged, stuck, frustrated, disappointed or angry. That energy that you are experiencing needs to be dissipated or that vibration will continue to be sent out into the field.
Even if you suppress it, vent it (gives short term relief) or cope with it using different escape options, like watching TV, going to a movie, having a drink, smoking, it doesn’t go away….it’s still there. It just goes underground, taking its toll on you even though you are not aware of it.
So if you want to know how to create a breakthrough in your life I would highly recommend learning and using a release technique so that you can change your not feeling good state to a feeling good state. You want to create from a place of joy, and excitement.

3 Keys On Manifesting What You Want To Create Easily Key3
April 2, 2010 by Brenda Blindenbach
Key 3 is using a goal setting tool to find out what steps or what inspired actions you want to take in the process of manifesting what it is that you want to create easily.
In the tradition way we look at setting goals by what we want to achieve in life and then set goals, targets or things that you need to, ought to, and must do to get there. This robs us of our energy and vitality because we come from the energy of pushing or forcing.
This goal setting tool comes from the perspective of “what do you want to do in order to get there” instead of just looking at the end result to get to what you have to do to achieve your goal. You would come from a place of “What is it that you want first,” and connect to the longing of what is in your heart.
1. Then instead of looking at “how do you need to get there?” and thinking of the steps you have, ought to, or must do to get there, use this goal setting tool and ask yourself “What are the steps that I want to take in order to get there?”
2. As you sit with the longing in your heart, the inspired actions will bubble up within you.
3. Then wait for the inspired action to come to you. Sit with this energy of unfolding. Then seize the moment when you are inspired to act. Follow the steps that you feel that are in alignment with your joy.
4. Give thanks and appreciation not just by using the words to express your thanks but by experiencing the feeling of gratitude.
5. Trust in the process by feeling and acting as though it has already taken place. Consider it done.
You must remember that you will create more energy if your actions are in alignment with y our longing. If you are taking actions because you hate what you are doing, or doing things out of obligation, ought to, must do, then there is no juice, no fuel to carry you through to your destination. Eventually things will come to a halt. Think of a car that has no fuel in it. It just won’t go anywhere. The fuel is the excitement, the joy, and the aliveness.
Joy has a very high vibration. Dr David Hawkins in his book power versus force has placed the energy level of joy at 540 from a scale of 0- 1000 from the millions of calibrations that he has done over many decades on vibrational frequencies on emotions.
Perhaps this will give you a clearer understanding of why it is that manifestation has everything to do with frequency and resonance. To change any outside circumstance you are invited to change your frequency and the quickest way to change your frequency is to change the way you feel about it.
So what is it that you really want ? Stay with that longing and then take the inspired steps and get it.
Would love your comments and feed back.
3 Keys On Manifesting What You Want To Create Easily Key2

The second key in the 3 keys on manifesting what you want to create easily process is to find out what it is that you want to create and connect to that juice or longing that excites you.
Most people are using the law of attraction to attract what they want from a place of need or lack, from a feeling of not having, from what they don’t like that is facing them in the moment or from desperation.
You might have this question coming up. Doesn’t wanting something indicate lack? The word want represents two energies. It depends on the energy that we give to the word want. It could come from the feeling of need, must have, got to have, clinging, if I don’t have this I am incomplete type energy.
Or it could come from the energy of the heart, your longing, desire, wanting, causing your heart to be open, to be joyful, and excited.
This is what I am talking about when I use the term want or longing. This wanting, longing or desire which is coming from a state of what feels good to you already, from a place of excitement and joy. This is something that most of us have a challenge with, connecting to our longing.
Contrary to what we may have learned about from various other sources the law of attraction responds to frequency. When you are connecting just on an intellectual level it’s just an idea or a thought, and because there is no passion, excitement or longing it won’t get off the ground.
What changes frequency more quickly than anything else is the ability to connect to the emotion of what you want and to your longing, then life will rearrange itself around your longing.
Usually when you ask the question what is it that I am longing for, how and why are the two questions that your mind (ego) will throw back at you. It has to know how it is going to happen. It will stop you dead in your tracks if you give it any consideration especially at the initial stage of wanting to get clear about what it is that you want.
Your mind will demand to know how it going to happen. It wants to know all the details, which will stop the process of longing because the mind needs to be satisfied with knowing how it’s going to work out first.
This is why people give up on their dreams because they focus on the how rather than the what. Just focus on the question what do you want and sit with the energy of longing without thinking that you have to do something to make it happen, or needing to take an action.
Your mind will shut down as soon as it feels you have to take some action because that’s scary for it right now. That feels like too much responsibility, it’s too big. It doesn’t feel safe, so it closes down the longing.
So use the question that the heart asks to find out what you really want and connect to that longing, before you get to step 3.

3 Keys On Manifesting What You Want To Create Easily – The First Key
February 25, 2010 by Brenda Blindenbach
The First Key is Get Plugged in to Your Power Source. When you connect to the heart centered part of you through your emotions, that is what energizes you to manifest what you want to create easily in your life. Your emotions let you know if you are connecting from the heart or the head. If you are disconnected to your feelings and find it a challenge to connect to your emotions you will end up creating a hum drum lifeless and a disconnected type of experience in life. It will be hard to manifest anything consciously.
Therefore it is important to be able to connect deeply to your emotions, because emotion is the energy or the fuel that is used to shift your vibration or frequency. It takes the power of your emotions to change things. Nothing changes without emotion.
Before you go on a journey you need to know where you are before you can get to your destination. In the same way before you can manifest what you want in your life you must know what you are feeling at this present moment about what is coming up for you in relation to what you want to manifest.
This will give you the clues to what it is that you don’t want and what you don’t feel so good about in your life right at this moment, so that you now can access the emotions that will make you feel good which will shift your vibrational frequency a little higher.
That’s the reason why it isn’t enough just to know intellectually what you don’t want or what you want in life, because it takes a heart connection to manifest what you want to create easily, so get plugged in to your power source through your emotions.
Ask yourself what am I feeling right now about this area of concern, whether it be in your finances, in your relationships, your career, your health or anything else. Then notice what comes up emotionally for you. Are you feeling stuck, anxious, fearful, disappointed, and angry or are there emotions that arise within you feel that life is pretty good right now?
Remember that your emotions give you clues; they are what tell you what is going on inside of you. They are your internal guidance system, and play a big part in your life. They are here for a purpose, so that you can experience a contrast. The more you are aware of your emotions and the information that they give you the easier it is to shift the vibration from what you don’t want to what you want.
Although you may think that the starting point of your journey is not important or exciting you are way ahead of the game because you now know exactly what you don’t want and can get to the next phase of your journey to find out what you want to create easily.

3 Keys On Manifesting What You Want To Create Easily
February 17, 2010 by Brenda Blindenbach
An important piece of information that we need to have on manifesting what you want to create easily is in the area of giving your power away. Not much attention or focus has been given to this area of teaching. Perhaps you have heard the phrase but what does it really mean? Who and what have you given your power away to? Why is it important to be aware of this?
Humanity as a whole has emotionally and energetically been plugged in to what our culture, family, and society have programmed us around what we should do, ought to do, have to do in life. This takes all the fun, excitement and juice out of life.
Imagine a beach ball that is inflated with air which has a pin size hole in it. No matter how much air there is in it right now it won’t be long before the ball will lose all the air in it. Likewise it doesn’t matter much if you have a great vision, a goal, or a great idea, there will be no energy to create easily those things that matter to you if you are plugged in and connected energetically to vibrations and frequencies that do not serve you.
Therefore it is important to become aware of what sources you are plugged in to that are draining you from manifesting what you want to create easily. What is keeping you in fear, closed and disconnected?
Get Plugged In To Your Power Source.
Getting plugged in to your power source, to that passionate, vital, and heart centered part of you through your emotions is what energises you to manifest what you want easily in your life. It is your emotions that let you know if you are connecting from the heart or the head. If you are disconnected to your feelings or you find it difficult to connect to your emotions you will end up creating a very dull, lifeless and disconnected type of experience in life. It will be hard to manifest anything consciously. Therefore it is important to be able to connect deeply to your emotions.
In order to be good at what you want to create easily it is important to first connect emotionally to what is going in your life so that you can use that fuel to change. What is your current life situation? Do you love your job? Do you have a relationship? What kind of financial assets do you have? Are you in the red or in the black? Are you living your purpose or your dream?
Know What You Want
Do you know what you want? What is it that excites and makes your juices flow? First connect to that longing in your heart. This emotion of longing is the fuel by which you will be able to go on manifesting what you want to create easily and to change the vibration that is draining your life force.
Setting Goals And Inspired Action From Your Heart
The final goal in this process of manifesting what you want to create easily is to look at setting goals in a different way to the traditional way of doing it. Instead of looking at how you should be setting goals you come from the perspective of “what do you want to do in order to get there?”

The Attitude Of Gratitude - Gratitude Quotes

Gratitude Quotes.
When we express gratitude for what we have it opens the doors to abundance, and instills in us the attitude of gratitude. Giving attention to Gratitude quotes help us to make a subtle shift in the way we perceive life. It helps us to stay on track, move forward and to remember how important it is to be grateful for the many blessings that come into our lives which otherwise we would take for granted.
Here are some gratitude quotes that I hope will challenge, inspire, and cause you to reflect on all that you have to be grateful for in life.
“If you want to turn your life around, try thankfulness. It will change your life mightily.” Gerald Good
Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others. Cicero.
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, and confusion into clarity…. It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow. Melodie Beattie
We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude.” — Cynthia Ozick
“What if you gave someone a gift, and they neglected to thank you for it-would you be likely to give them another? Life is the same way. In order to attract more of the blessings that life has to offer, you must truly appreciate what you already have.” Ralph Marston
“Feeling grateful or appreciative of someone or something in your life actually attracts more of the things that you appreciate and value into your life.” — Christiane Northrup
“Both abundance and lack exist simultaneously in our lives, as parallel realities. It is always our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend… when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that’s present — love, health, family, friends, work, the joys of nature and personal pursuits that bring us pleasure — the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience Heaven on earth.” –Sarah Ban Breathnach
“Gratitude should not be just a reaction to getting what you want, but an all-the-time gratitude, the kind where you notice the little things and where you constantly look for the good, even in unpleasant situations. Start bringing gratitude to your experiences, instead of waiting for a positive experience in order to feel grateful.” — Marelisa Fábrega
For today and its blessings, I owe the world an attitude of gratitude. –Clarence E. Hodges
Gratitude is the inward feeling of kindness received. Thankfulness is the natural impulse to express that feeling. Thanksgiving is the following of that impulse. Henry Van Dyke.
Gratitude is when memory is stored in the heart and not in the mind. Lionel Hampton.
If a fellow isn’t thankful for what he’s got, he isn’t likely to be thankful for what he’s going to get. Frank A. Clark
If you count all your assets, you always show a profit. Robert Quillen

The Attitude of Gratitude–How to Cultivate A Grateful Heart
January 7, 2010 by Brenda Blindenbach
There’s a beautiful praise song that I recall singing years ago called Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart that came to my mind this morning. I asked myself what it means to live with the attitude of gratitude, and how I could cultivate a grateful heart. I realized that it begins by self reflection and contemplating on gratitude.
It made me think of this saying by Albert Einstein “A hundred times a day I remind myself that my inner and outer life depends on the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the measure as I have received and am still receiving.”
The other quote is by Dietrich Bonhoeffer who said “In ordinary life we hardly realize that we receive a great deal more than we give, and that it is only with gratitude that life becomes rich. It is very easy to overestimate the importance of our achievements in comparison with what we owe others.”
Greg Krech author of Niakan: Gratitude, Grace and the Japanese Art of self expression is one of the leading authorities in Niakan in the USA. Niakan is a form of the Japanese art of self reflection which translates as “inside observation,” or “seeing one’s self through the mind’s eye.”
It is structured to focus your attention on your own conduct in relationship with parents, siblings, friends, partners, co-workers and neighbors. It also encourages you to accept life’s events rather than become mired in your feelings about them.
The self reflection is based on three questions that you ask yourself in relationship to your partner, parents, siblings, children and friends.
1. What did I receive from others today__________?
2. What did I give to others today __________?
3. What troubles and difficulties did I cause others today __________?
Take the first of the three questions; you could have received a phone call from your mother to see how you were doing, your children took the garbage out this morning without being asked to do so, and your boss congratulated you on a job well done. Often you may not pay any attention to these small things and take them for granted, and notice only the blocks and problems that come your way. Had you given attention to those little blessings you would have been strengthened at the support that came your way.
The second self reflection question is what have I given to others today? This could be a smile or a word of encouragement that you gave a colleague, giving a lift to a neighbor, or baby sitting your granddaughter. Reflecting on this question gives you a conscious realization of the contribution that you gave to others.
The third question can be a bit of a challenge. You may notice when others are late and have kept you waiting, or someone taking your parking spot, yet you may not even be aware when you are the source of the problem or think that it wasn’t such a big deal, justifying it with some excuse.
However this is a question that needs to be taken seriously. It takes courage and a willingness to look at yourself with truth and honesty. If you fail to do so, you will continue to cause pain to others by your thoughtlessness, and continue to be the source of someone else’s suffering. This should in no way cause you to beat upon your self, or cause you to feel shame or guilt. The whole point of self reflection is to increase your state of awareness.
Self reflection on these three questions is one of the best ways to cultivate a grateful heart. It will generate in you a feeling of gratitude. It will arouse in you the desire to give something back, not out of obligation but because you are overflowing with a grateful heart for all the support and love that you have received from others.

The Attitude Of Gratitude – The Law of Attraction and Gratitude
December 30, 2009 by Brenda Blindenbach
The Law of Attraction tells us that “like attracts like”. Have you noticed that people who like each other hang out together? When you operate from the attitude of gratitude you resonate and send out a frequency of acceptance and harmony, and as a result you attract to you the events, conditions, and circumstances that match that frequency.
However when you choose to resist or fight whatever you find not to your liking you are creating resistance. This is how you resist, by focusing on thoughts and emotions that may go like this “why is this happening to me?” “Life is not fair” “It’s not my fault”, etc. Resistance is placing your focus on what you would rather not have happening to you at this moment.
As you resonate with that frequency you will continue to attract those events, circumstances and dis- harmonious events into your life. The Law of Attraction makes it clear that you will literally attract to yourself, the things that your thoughts are focused on.
Gratitude or being grateful for what you have on the other hand is an acceptance of things just the way they are which correlates with acceptance. This in turn resonates and sends out a much different resonance of energy creating a magnetic force that is conducive to attracting the “desired” outcome.
The first step is to deal with the thoughts and the emotions that have surfaced up for you that are causing you to be worried, anxious, fearful, guilty etc. They are not bad nor are they good. They just are, as a result of your beliefs and perceptions about life. This is what you are feeling at this moment. So own, acknowledge them, observe them and release them. Then remind yourself that you are at this moment truly abundant.
The next step is to change your frame of reference with positive words and affirmations on a daily basis, and taking some time to feel grateful for all the things that you have. You can begin by being grateful for having a roof over your head, food on the table, clothes on your back. “Count your blessings instead of sheep” as the song says.
Let`s look at how developing the consistent attitude of gratitude which will execute the Law of Attraction on your behalf. Everything in its purest form in the universe is pure energy. Your thoughts, feelings and emotions that you are broadcasting determines your vibrational frequency which attracts to you exactly what you want to manifest into your life.
For the purpose of this illustration consider that you are a powerful magnet and whatever you may be feeling- frustration, anger, rejection, love, compassion or joy, you are in reality drawing to you the conditions that are experiencing. If for instance you fear something, that creates an attractive force that will draw to you more of what you fear.
When you express gratitude for whatever situation that you are facing, trusting that everything happens for a reason, and that reason is there to serve you, that draws to you more of what you are grateful for. This means that whenever you are not expressing gratitude for an outcome, you are actually in resistance, because it causes you to focus on not wanting that outcome. When you are not expressing gratitude your thoughts and emotions are focused on what you don’t want, which draws more of what you don’t want.
When you are experiencing a situation that is not to your liking it may not be that easy to feel grateful for that situation. However you do have a choice. So begin by releasing or letting go of those emotions that are not serving you. That will bring you to a neutral state which allows you to make a shift in your paradigm, and does bring you to a place of choice. Now it is easier to give heartfelt thanks for “what is”.
Surrendering and being grateful for gets you out of the way, creating a magnetic force that is essential to attracting the desired outcome.
