Do you understand the laws of the universe? Part 2

Did you answer the question to “who are you?” You may have answered by stating ” I am a wife, husband, lawyer, teacher, musician. Yes you are all those things that have been stated, but you are more than your body, and your five senses. More on Do you understand the laws of the universe? Part 2

Do you understand the laws of the Universe?

Universal laws are also known as spiritual laws or laws of nature and are principles that never change. They rule over our univers. Once you become aware of how these incredible principles operate, and you align your actions with these laws you will literally attract abundance into your life.

Because people have had no awareness of how these laws work thy have tried to get abundance by working more, doing more with a lot of struggle, resulting in physical and emotional over whelm, fear, anxiety, depresion and many other problems.

The Universal laws work by exact precision. They are predictable, they never waver or err. They make no distinction on who they work for. They work regardles of your gender, colour, age, religious preference, if you are ignorant or are aware of their existence.

Just like gravity makes no distinction as to who they work for the universal laws work with the same unwavering and precise fashion. It doesn’t matter if you are black, white, young or old, Indian, Chinese, Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Buddist or an atheist. These laws work in a predictable and specific way 100% of the time.

When you develp an awareness of how they work and you align your thoughts and actions with them, you will attract and experience seemingly impossible outcomes. Understanding these laws will develp a deep awareness of the incredible power that these simple truths hold. They will help you to rewrite and replace the self sabogaging and limiting beliefs that have caused strugge and hardship in your life.

When you have knowledge of these amazing laws and consciously align yourself with them you will know how to interact with them correctly and attract what you desire into your life.

Most people also don’t know who they really are. Secondly they do not know what they are in this world for. Because of this lack of awareness people don’t know what they are capable of creating and achieving. Most of us live by our five senses-seeing, tasting , hearing, smelling and touching.

We don’t believe anything if we don’t see, hear, taste, smell or touch it. But this is an illusion. We need to realise that there is more to life than what we can perceive with our five senses. If we just depend on our five senses to create what we want, our lives will be filled with struggle and hardship.

So the question I am going to ask you now is “who are you”? Who do you believe you are? When you know who you  are you can connect to the truth of your essence.

Take a few minutes to think about this question and answer it. I will continue on this subject in my next newsletter.

Developing Clarity and Focus

Have you ever thought about certain people like Benjamin Franklin, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Edison, and other great men and women and wondered what made them so successful? The one thing that all these successful people had in common was having clarity in thier objectives and values. They knew who they were, what was important to them, and what they valued. There was no question about them procrastinating because they were passionate and excited about their goals and dreams.

When you are clear about what it is that you want, and you are committed to achieving it, nothing and no one will be able to stop you. The thing that most people fail in is in this area -the lack of clarity and focus.

Finding clarity in your life leads to power. So the next thing in getting clarity is finding what your five core values are. Your core values can help you make difficult decisions and help you find common ground with someone you disagree with. Core values are different for everyone. For me it is having freedom in my personal, financial and political life -freedom of speech and self expression, love of family, integrity, authenticity, and generosity. The important thing is to integrate these values  into your life.

Know what your top 3 goals are. Write down your goals, your plans and ideas and keep track of your results. Take steps however small every day in some way towards your goal. Begin by taking the first step and then the next step. Martin Luther King Jr. said it this way “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”

Start or join a Mastermind Group of  2 or more like minded people.  Masterminding is based on the ancient principle that states: when two or more people coordinate in a spirit of harmony and help each other work toward a definite or purpose they absorb and magnify each other’s creative power and results.

They raise the bar by challenging each other to help implement goals, and they support one another with respect, honesty and compassion. They give you feed back by asking questions like “what worked,”  “what didn’t , “and what next.”? You will gain great insights for both your personal and business growth by brainstorming for new possibilities. ” One plus one doesn’t equal two. It becomes the power of eleven.” Mark Victor Hansen.

Make a list of the people you would like to have on your team and then contact them. Start with people you know.

What does success mean to you? Part 3

Your sub conscious mind is like a huge computer that records everything that you see, hear, taste, feel and smell. The sub conscious mind is so powerful tht it can recognise, file and store 100 million pieces of information per second. Mind boggling isn’t it? What the most powerful computer in this world can do pales in comparison to what your sub conscious mind is capable of doing.

Even the most intelligent people only use 5% of their mind. What is the reason for this? Here is what happens what happens to a baby right from the time of conception. The baby begins to receive information from all it’s senses while still in the womb. Most of this programming is formed during the formative years until the age of seven, after which time the conscious mind is formed.

Research studies have shown that the average child receives at least twenty negative messages from their parents for every positive one. The word tht parents use the most is “No.” The child is told most often “You can’t do this,” or you can’t do that,” or ” No, don’t do that.”

Parents also talk in front of their children without realising that their children hear and receive as truth eveything that they or the relatives are saying about them. All this negative goes straight into their sub conscious mind when such statements are made:

He’s not amiable like his brother.

He’s always crying and gives us so much trouble.

She will never amount to anything.

He’s not smart enough to go to university.

Of course good things are also said but not nearly enough. People look at the negative circumstances that are taking place in their lives and focus on that. The sub conscious mind records everything -the attitudes, values and fears of the parents, their limiting beliefs and the decisions based on those beliefs such as:

        Money doesn’t grow on trees.

You have to work hard for money.

I’m just making it from pay cheque to pay cheque.

        Every thing is so expensive.

        I can’t afford it.

This was the beginning of the conditioning that you received which formed your beliefs, values and personality when you were young, and continues to do so for the rest of your life, unless they are changed.

We are also continually receiving information from our environment. One of the ways this happens is through that little voice that is always judging the information that you receive against your beliefs and values that have been stored in your sub conscious mind. If they are in alignment with your beliefs, you accept it, if not you will reject it.

There is a part of your brain that is looking for information in the outer world to support the beliefs and values which are present in your inner world. It will say things like:

I’m just not good with money.

I have such a hard time getting along with my family.

I never seem to get ahead.

       I’m not good enough.

Have you had the chatter in your head telling you what you can and what you can’t do? Has it been mainly positive or negative? That voice that talks to you constantly is just like a mirror which is reflecting what is stored in your sub conscious mind. We are told by experts in this field that more than 75% of what enters a person’s sub conscious mind is negative.

Here is an example of one way you may be experiencing self sabotage. Although you may be working hard you may be feeling like you are not getting ahead. You look at your business friends and they have a good job, a nice car, a lovely house and they are financially independent. Your mind starts to compare it to how you are doing, and based on what beliefs are stored in your sub conscious mind you will come up with the belief that substantiates that you are not good enough and that you are not cut out to climb the corporate ladder.

However what is taking place is that your outer world (you are not getting ahead) and your inner world (your belief that you are not good enough) were aligning themselves with each other and creating balance. They were in agreement. This is why the real battle has to be fought on the inside, on the inner plane to change the belief systems that are not serving you.

The good news is that you have the power and the ability to change your beliefs and change your life around.

My Early Christmas Gift

Most of us love to receive gifts, and a gift as we know is given freely. There are several such gifts being given to you today that I hope you will truly enjoy.

A part of the “big picture” of my dream has just fallen into place. I have for some time known that I would be taking the message that I have globally. Didn’t know how (that’s not my job) I just knew that changing my inner environment would change my outer reality. You have read that statement over and over again in my articles, in one way or the other.

Well without going into great detail (although it is rather exciting how it has all come about -all the synchronicities that have gone back years all coming together) I am  going to be teaching teleclasses and teleworkshops with the possibility of doing so globally.

This is a quote from Robert Evans the founder of this amazing one website with hundreds of messengers working together using this technology.

“Today I am very proud to offer you a source where hundreds of messengers share their message using this same technology but brought together in one website. There is not a website like this anywhere on the internet and today you get the chance to experience some amazing messages for FREE. Membership at this website is free and most of the programs offered are also free.”

Today is the official launch. So go check it out. Christmas has come early this year. Merry Christmas !!

What does success mean to you? Part 2

So how does one become successful? The first step to becoming successful is making a quality decision that you already are a success. Regardless of what your circumstances are saying to you at the present moment, when you think and feel like a success you will continue to attract good things to come your way.

The fact of the matter though is that when your husband has left you, the rent money is due, you’ve lost your job, or your business is not doing well your emotions are going to tell you a different story. You take your clues from your five physical senses, the stories that you tell yourself and the assumptions that you have made. Assumptions are not facts.

It’s  precisely at this time that you need to feel good about yourself. But how do you rise above the deluge of thoughts and emotions that drag you under? It’s by changing the way you think. If you change the way you think you will change the way you feel. Instead of those thoughts making you feel like a failure, not good enough, wanting to give up, realise that you can embrace every set back and challenge as an opportunity for your growth. Then reach for thoughts that make you feel good, and from that “feeling good place” you will be able to take a different action.

Now I know that this isn’t as easy as it seems especially as your circumstances are telling you a different story. We have been so conditioned to believe what our five senses tell us. So what is the solution?

I know I’m repeating myself, but it bears repeating -the key to your success is changing your thinking. What you think and the kind of thoughts that fill your mind on a regular basis affects your feelings, which influences your actions and attracts those circumstances into your life.

Your mind has two parts to it. The conscious and the subconscious mind.

Your conscious mind is the part of you that thinks and reasons. You have the free will to choose your thoughts. Your conscious mind  does not see the world as it really is, because you only see what your internal environment is conditioned to see. Your conscious mind  looks for patterns and images that are familiar and rejects those that aren’t. Your thinking therefore is influenced entirely by the content of your sub-conscious mind. Who you are as a person is a reflection of the content of your sub-conscious mind.

Everything that you have ever seen, smelt, heard, tasted or felt has been recorded into your sub conscious mind, and your sub-conscious mind notices all the details that the conscious mind can’t take in. It has the ability of a genius. Your incredible and amazing subconscious mind can recognize, file, store and retain 100 million pieces of information per second.

Imagine that ! What an extrordinary, awesome, amazing and brilliant piece of equipment you have within you.

What does success mean to you?

Although success is your birthright, it is not given to you automatically. You have to "BE" it. All of us want success. But what is succes?

The meaning of success to you would probably be different than what it would mean to me. If fifty people were asked this question, you would get fifty different answers. It may mean financial success, a loving relationship with their family and partner, having a beautiful home, having good health, taking a wonderful holiday whenever they wanted. Every one has a different idea of what success means to them.

For me success is feeling good about myself, communicating on a heart level with my family and friends where they feel safe to be themselves without fear of judgement or rejection from me, to be financially independent, and to have good health.

When you stop to think about it……it’s not having the new car, a big house, or even the perfect relationship that we are looking for. It’s the feeling thta these things give us - excitement, security, peace of mind, a feeling that we are honoured, trusted, loved and cherished for who we are.

The opposite of succes could be staying in a job that you hate, having no purpose in life, having relationships that don’t work, or just getting by.

Here are the statistics:

Over 80% of people spend their lives doing things thye don’t want to do.

"People are anxious to improve their circumstance,

but they are unwilling to improve themselves.

                                                         They therefore remain bound….."

James Allen, (from "As a Man Thinketh")

So how can you create success in your life? This is what all of the books written over the last 100 years have said without exception about creating success:

  •      The key to your success is in programming your subconscious mind.
  •      You must take charge of your thinking.
  •      You must have a clear picture of what you want  - then you can have it.
  •      Consider that you have it now, not in the future.
  •      Express gratitude (thanks) for it now, and for all that you already have.
  •      Forgive yourself and others.
  •      Take the appropriate actions
  •      Detach from the outcome.

When you understand how your mind and the laws of the universe work, release the hindering beliefs and emotions, reprogram your subconcious mind with new beliefs, and take the correct actions you will be able to creat what you want with ease.

A 2 day Workshop that will give you the tools to identify the beliefs that are hindering you from getting ahead, so that you can manifest what you really desire, will be held on:

Are you part of the solution or part of the problem?

This was the article printed on the front page of the North Delta Leader on March 7th 2007 which had to do with changes in transit service to cut down green house gas emissions. It stated that :

Out of the Tail Pipe

Greenhouse gas emissions from passenger vehicles in Greater Vancouver are now estimated at 5.5 million tonnes per year, the equivalent of:

  • Filling BC Place stadium three to four times a day, or 1,100 times a year.
  • Filling one million two-litre pop bottles -enough to line up end to end from Vancouver to Olympia, Washington.
  • Creating a layer of carbon dioxide four metres deep across the entire region every year.
  • Based on local fuel consumption, the typical vehicle generates more than it’s weight in carbon dioxide each year.

According to the article in The Leader, the greenhouse gases released each year due to passenger transportation is enough to fill B.C. Place stadium every eight hours.

It has been predicted that the price of gas in the coming months will be on the rise. It has gone up considerably in many parts of the United State. These statistics are depressing and may cause us to feel even more helpless than before.

If you are anythng like me, anything that could be done by each and every one of us, at the grass roots level, reducing vehicle emissions would make a huge difference.

Well, I am pleased to inform you that there is a product, that we can use, that produces a more complete combustion thereby creating cleaner emissions, increased fuel savings, and more engine efficiency and power.

Comprehensive and rigorous tests have been done by an independent laboratory in accordance with SAE Type 11 J132. Test results indicate an unprecedented fuel savings of 13% for gasoline cars and 16% for diesel trucks in a very stringent testing environment. Actual use is often showing results much higher than the test results.

I am recommending that those of us that desire to be a part of the soloution to this global problem, take a serious look at this and check it out. Here is the link.

My exciting news

Dear Friends,

This is going to be a short note to tell you my exciting news.

I am going to be co-authoring a book called "Live the life you love" with Wayne Dyer and Anthony Robbins. It is very much like the series "Chicken Soup for the Soul". There will be other authors writing other short stories in this book, some of them well known, and others like me who are aspiring to be one. The book will be published in 7-8 months. I will keep you posted.

You can imagine how excited I am about this. The book will be my business card to doing what I love most and that is teaching. I am sitting on the edge of my seat to see how this is going to evolve.

Hope you like my new blog. Please leave your comments on the blog.

Have a great summer.

Love and Blessings,

Brenda.
