Struggling To Find Financial Freedom? Having A Relationship With Money

Do you feel that you are taking one step forward and two steps back regarding money? Does it feel that you are hitting your head against a wall where financial freedom is concerned?

There is an energy exchange between you and everything else, and this includes the people around you, your business and even money. Whether or not you are aware of it, you have a relationship with money.

It seems to flow easily to some people, almost as if they had the Midas touch, but to others it always seems to be scarce. Would you like to change your relationship around money?

Here is an exercise that you can do to by asking yourself what is the relationship that you have with money. Journal on what money wants to share with you about your beliefs around money. What are the feelings that money sparks in you, and the qualities that you associate with it?

•    Your struggle and effort in getting money
•    Your beliefs about how long it takes to get money
•    There is never enough time or money.
•    Do you deserve to have money?
•    Do you deserve to be taken care of?
•    Do you think money is elusive?
•    Here today and gone tomorrow?
•    Something you can’t count on?

You could then ask yourself the question what kind of relationship would I want to have with money?  What would money look like if it were a person? What kind of attributes would it have, and what kind of a relationship can you have with it?

Consider giving money a name so you can create a relationship with it. Do you feel cared about, protected and safe in the presence of money as you would feel with a good friend?

My grand daughter who just turned one year started to use a toy walker to get around.  Although I softly walk behind her as she wheels her walker all over the house she knows I’m behind her and she turns back her head continually to check if I’m there and smiles and giggles when she sees me. Then I say to her I’m right behind you Kennadie, I’m following you everywhere you go.

Every time I walk around now I am so aware of and see money following me around where ever I go. I speak to money, and call it by name and feel safe, secure and blessed in its presence.

Have fun finding ways to have a loving and joyous relationship with money that will serve your highest good and the good of others, and seeing and feeling everyone everywhere feeling prosperous.

When you can harness this energy as love energy, it becomes easy to make the changes you need to draw abundance and prosperity to you.

Struggling To Achieve Financial Freedom? Why And How To Shift Your Limiting Beliefs

April 26, 2009 by Brenda Blindenbach

Does the failure in achieving financial freedom give you the feeling of guilt and shame, and do you blame the situation on others and on circumstances?

Often when people fail to achieve financial freedom they put the blame on the situation they are in rather than looking at the core beliefs and the emotions that arise from believing that they are a failure, or that they don’t have the smarts, which is what is being mirrored to them.

If you are struggling for financial freedom, you probably have some limiting beliefs that are subconsciously holding you back from achieving your financial success. Perhaps you have some insights to what these blocks are but may not know how to make the changes to get a different result.

Before a change can be made in your external circumstances you need to understand that the challenges you are facing are the result of the core beliefs that you have held about yourself, and your limitations, many of them being held at the subconscious level. These beliefs cause you to look at your limitations as something bigger than you, which keep you feeling hopeless, powerless, and weak.

Since everything is energy, your thoughts beliefs and emotions are sending out a signal that is saying “I don’t have the smarts, “I feel like a failure”  or “I can’t make a go of it”. And that‘s what will be drawn to you like a magnet. No matter how hard you try to make a go of it will eventually fail.

These beliefs and the emotions that arise from these beliefs are what need to be changed first, and because they are energy they can be released easily.

David Hawkins in his book Power vs. Force gives us a scale of our emotions that looks something like this from low to high: shame, guilt, apathy, grief, fear, greed, anger, pride, courage neutrality, willingness, acceptance reason, love, joy, peace and enlightenment.

If you are depressed, the easiest way to release this emotion is just by bringing up those thoughts and all the emotions that are making you feel depressed and giving them permission to leave.

Try this experiment: Get a pencil and hold it very tightly in your hand, and let it stay that way for 30 seconds. You will notice that your hands and even your body start to feel tense. How would you feel if you had to hold it that tightly for another hour or two? Not so good right?

When you open your hands and let go of the pencil and drop it you will feel a sense of relief. Did you notice that while you held the pencil in your hand you were not able to pick up anything else with that hand either?  It’s exactly the same when you hold on to those limiting beliefs and emotions. Not only do those emotions cause you pain and discomfort but they do not allow you to attract what you want into your life.

Now when you don’t feel so good about something imagine and feel those limiting beliefs and emotions draining away down your kitchen sink right down to the center of the earth where they are all neutralized by a magnetic force. They have been rendered ineffective and useless. You will actually feel that emotion leaving and in it’s place you will feel at peace.

Do this every time you get t rigged by whatever causes you to feel any “not so good feeling” until you shift into feeling a good feeling. This is how you can change your vibration.

Struggling To Achieve Financial Freedom? Discovering Your Wants

March 24, 2009 by Brenda Blindenbach

Have you stopped dreaming because you’ve experienced disappointment, regret, and disillusionment? What are your smallest, biggest, deepest, hidden desires, fantasies, dreams or passions? Have you stopped allowing yourself to want them?

How did you get to this place?

When you focus your attention to the thoughts and emotions of what you don’t want
that’s exactly what manifests in your life. However the good thing about knowing what you don’t want will help you determine what you want.

Once you’ve identified what you don’t want you now know what you want. If wanting comes from a need, a yearning, a clutching, a longing or sighing for something, then it comes from a feeling of lack, and a not being able to have. When you desire you know that everything is yours already, and that you deserve it.

If you want a want to be magnetized, you need to get your good feeling juices flowing and the best way to do this is to ask yourself the question why. Here is an example.

So “what is it that you want? “
“I want to pay my bills.”
“ why? “
‘So I can be free from stress.”
Why?
“So I can feel good.”
What else would you do after all the bills are paid?
Travel, have a college trust fund for the kids etc.
Now put it into a statement.
I intend to be financially free to do whatever I want to do, whenever I feel like doing it.

How do you feel?
Free as a bird, light as a feather, excited, and I feel secure.

Use this process by asking yourself the same why question over and over again to the answers you receive until you can’t go any further and start to feel really good about why you want what you want.

Then check on how you are feeling. You want to get to those feeling good feelings. The vibrations of those good feelings that you send out will be magnetized and drawn back to you and manifest what you want. You magnetically attract what you vibrate emotionally.

When you feel good feelings, they are like the open nozzle of your garden hose, allowing the energy to flow through it from source. When you don’t change the not so feel good feelings it’s like having a closed valve; it’s like resisting or pushing against what is confronting you. They will push back. You are trying to change what you want without changing your not so good feelings.

All you have to do is to make a tiny shift so that you can feel a little better than you felt before, which allows the flow of life giving energy to move though.

Because some people may have a challenge about using the word want, you could turn it into a statement of intent – I intend to achieve financial freedom. The definition of intend is – to have in mind as a goal or purpose.

Here are the steps for conscious deliberate creation:
1 Identify what you don’t want
2 Identify what you do want.
3 Ask yourself why you want it
4 Experience the good feeling place that you want.
5 Focus your attention on what you want.

So what is the quality decision that you are going to make which will help you make a shift? It all begins with a choice. It doesn’t have to be a leap; just a small step. You can do it.

Struggling To Achieve Financial Freedom? Identifying What You Really Want From Your Don’t Wants

March 13, 2009 by Brenda Blindenbach

Do you anticipate and expect the worst from life, expecting undesirable things to come your way?

As we grow older we begin to limit ourselves in the language of what we don’t want to happen to us rather than defining ourselves in the language of being open to all possibilities. We look at the circumstances that are facing us and give all our attention to it. This attracts back to us exactly what we are focusing on.

Are these some of the things that you don’t want to happen to you?

I don’t want to be poor.
I don’t want to live from pay check to pay check.
I have to work hard for money
I want to junk that old car
I’m tired of being broke
I  feel there’s never enough
No matter how much money I make it seems to be barely enough.
I don’t want to feel guilty for having lots of money
There’s more money going out than coming in
Life is a struggle
You can see from the examples above that even when you aren’t using the words “don’t want” you may still be focusing on what you don’t want. Whatever you focus on grows.

If you listen to most people talk about money they are constantly complaining about how they can’t pay their bills, how the bills just keep coming, they can’t afford things, how bad the economy is, or that everything is so expensive.

Wealthy people demonstrate by their inner and outer talk that they have plenty of money. The law of sowing and reaping says that we get back what we send out. You may be saying to yourself “but I don’t have plenty of money”

Almost all people are creating by default because they haven’t been taught the creation process, and aren’t aware why they don’t have the money or anything else that they want.

Think of yourself as radio transmitters, sending signals continually to the universe. What signals are you sending? To get the results that you want you need to send the right signals.

When you can’t pay a bill you automatically send a signal to the universe that you desire more money, and the universe responds to your requests and takes the steps to bring it to you. Isn’t that wonderful?

You’ve asked, the universe has said yes to your request, so where is it?

Although the universe hasn’t answered your request, it is similar to you placing an order at a drive through. It has been prepared in the kitchen and now it’s up to you to receive and collect it. It’s the same with the universe. You’ve got to receive the finances you’ve asked for, by getting into alignment with what you want.

You can’t be thinking “I’m sick of bills”, “there’s never enough”, and then receive more money. You are not in alignment with your order of what you want.

If you want more money these following statement would be a sign of alignment:

I’m excited by all the things I can afford.

I love feeling abundant

Let’s buy the best, I’m worth it.

Another way of changing your mind from scarcity thinking is to see the abundance that is all around you. Notice the abundance in nature, the  trees, cars, birds, parks. As you become aware of how abundant the universe is, abundance of finances or whatever else you desire is only a step away from you.

What one step are you going to take to shift your consciousness from not having to having abundance and for feeling grateful for all that you have right now?

Struggling To Achieve Financial Freedom? Why Identifying Your Beliefs About Money Is Crucial

February 21, 2009 by Brenda Blindenbach
Filed under Finances

Are you working hard to make a living? Is financial freedom one of your goals? Are you suffering from low self esteem? Does it take hard work to make money?

What is the most important thing that determines whether you succeed financially or not ? I believe that the answer to that question is to do with your beliefs. Your  limiting beliefs restrict and hold you back. Here are a few questions you can ask yourself.

1. Do you believe that money is hard to come by?
2. Do you believe that it takes hard work to make money?
3. Do you believe that you can earn enough money?
4. Do you believe that rich people are dishonest?
5. Do you believe that being prosperous is normal?
6. Do you believe that there’s never enough money?
7. Do you believe that just one really good idea could make you rich?
8. Do you believe that you need to save for a rainy day?
9. Do you believe that some people know how to make money and others don’t?
10. Do you believe that money is out there separate from you?

Whether you answered yes or no to all of them or a mixture, how do you know if they are true for you?

The first way is if you believed what you were told by your parents, teachers and society about finances when you were a child.  So if you were told time and again that money is easy to come by, then you took that as a belief. On the other hand if you were consistently told that it takes hard work to make money then you would take that belief instead. Beliefs are made up from your past experiences.

The most powerful way that you continue to create a belief is what you tell yourself - the internal chatter. Most of the time people are not aware of this mind chatter and here is where the reprograming has to take place.

Your reality is created by your thoughts and what you believe, because they are the basic elements of all creation. Your deepest beliefs drive you to take action or prevent you from doing so. Your thoughts and beliefs determine what you experience.

So the first step is to determine what beliefs need to be changed that aren’t serving you, as these beliefs are producing the life that you now have.

Some people may think that it takes a long time to change a belief. Think of the many things that you were told as a child that you don’t believe now. It didn’t take long to change those beliefs did it?  When you become aware of your limiting beliefs you can change them to work for you instead of against you.

How to Create a New Belief.
1. Start by writing down your new belief/s
2. Create a new story. A new belief is just a new story. Tell your new story with your words, observations, and expectations.
3.  Look for evidences every day to support your new beliefs. Keep a journal on your  evidences.  Celebrate all the times when things work out well for you even if they are small.
4.  Find a personal mentor. You can be mentored also by reading books and articles, listening to audios, watching videos on changing beliefs, wealth, health and abundance.
5.  Work with a coach.
6. Appreciate what you already have.

Financial Independence -5 Essential Keys You Need,To Have This Mind Set

February 4, 2009 by Brenda Blindenbach

Would you like to have financial freedom in your life, but instead you find that life is a continual struggle to make ends meet, leaving you tired, depressed, and stressed out?

In 2005 after being married for 23 1/2 years my late husband and I seperated. I felt like the bottom had fallen out of my life. Not only did I have to deal with all the emotional issues of being separated, but I had to learn how to build my business and become financially free using internet marketing which was completely out of my comfort zone.

Feeling overwhelmed, all alone, and discouraged, I knew that I had to change my mindset of thinking the old way which would only bring me the same results.

Realising that creating anything is an inside game my first step was to change the internal environment if I was to see my external world change. My outer world was a direct reflection of what was going on internally. If I did the internal changes, abundance and prosperity, wealth and happiness would almost seem effortless.

I took baby steps every day to change my beliefs and bit by bit shifts started to take place and then whoosh! It felt like Niagara Falls was bringing me a flood of astounding results.
Here are 5 insightful essential keys that you can use to transform your life to create financial freedom, as it did mine.

1. Beliefs. Take a look at your conditioned beliefs and patterns that you hold about money. This will bring to the surface your awareness of what is causing the blocks to your financial freedom.

2. The Don’t Wants. Make a list of all the things that you don’t want in the area of wealth and happiness, abundance and prosperity. When you know what you don’t want you will become very clear about what you want.

3. The Wants. Now make a list of all the things that you do want in those same areas of wealth and happiness, abundance and prosperity. Just look at your don’t want list which is the opposite of what you do want. The attention you give to the thoughts of what you want and of what you can have will produce good feelings and attract them to you.

Your intention is the WHY you want your desires, so ask yourself why you want them. What do you want to experience? Freedom, peace of mind, excitement and fun?

4. Managing Your Energy. Recognize and shift the emotions and feelings that are not serving you. This is how you raise your vibrational frequency which raises your energy field and powerfully influences what you are attracting to yourselves. You are then able to see the possibilities and the solutions more easily.

5. Your Relationship With Money. You have an energetic relationship around everything - yourself, people, and your business. You have a relationship with money whether you realize what it is or not. What is your current relationship with money? List all the feelings and qualities that you want to experience just like you would want it to be if money were a person.

When you can acknowledge and align with this energy, you can make the necessary shifts to attract and allow abundance and prosperity into your life.

Bonus Tip: I wonder what would happen if you worked on just one key and made a slight shift and then each additional shift was like taking a million baby steps to get you to your dream and your goal.
